If there's one thing about relationships, they don't always last. In fact, most relationships usually come into our lives to teach us valuable lessons about ourselves as individuals and as partners. We learn about what we like and don't like in relationships, what we expect from our partners, and what we're willing to bring to the table.
While letting go of people can be excruciatingly difficult, it doesn't always have to be like that. Remaining friends after a breakup can be challenging and hella complex, but it's not impossible. It requires mutual trust, understanding, willingness to communicate and redefine the nature of the relationship. Just because you didn't work out as partners, doesn't mean they're not a good person.
And that brings us to today's piece. We recently stumbled upon a surprisingly wholesome Reddit thread where people discussed all the special things they kept from their exes. Not all of these people are friends or even friendly with their exes, but it sure is nice that they didn't throw away all the memories along with the breakup.
